I wish I had known about this case earlier. I used to try dozen cases in the past several years. I’m always on the way of looking for the perfect one. Other shells on the market work for what they do, the problem with them is they don't really protect the corner.

I can not to just throw it in my backpack and go as the laptop can open and close which could cause damage. I then tried sleeves which does the trick when I'm just transporting the computer but the second it's out of the sleeve, I have to keep track of it and it doesn't protect the machine. This wonderfully designed case does both! It protects the machine while I'm using it and then I can close it and just throw it in my bag. Furthermore, it does not add so much weight and size to the machine. I was hoping this cover would be nice and not look cheesy-I have to say, it's better than I thought it would be!

The previous case I bought (which got a crack in no-time-flat) just seemed more brittle, and the color was nothing like the name or picture. This really looks LIKE WOOD, I'm not kidding! I love the wood design, I've gotten lots of compliments on it. The case is fitted well, the bottom case never hurt my wrist while writing or anything. I noticed recently the bottom corner was cracked and had chipped off, but theres no damage to my laptop. I didn't drop it, it was probably just from a ding or setting it down too hard.

And one of the white nubs at the bottom came off a while ago, but I don't particularly care about them. There are some scratches now from wear on the edges of the wood design, but I think the case overall has lasted me a good amount of time.

And theres no scratches on my laptop, which is what really matters. I'm thinking about replacing the case now, and I'll probably go.
